<p>No, Russia certainly did not join the European Union! Hahaha, I don’t think they are even allowed to be a member of the NATO (not that they would want to). There was some controversy about Georgia potentially joining the NATO in the short Russo-Georgian war in… 2008? And some former Soviet states have joined the EU (or at least former members of the Warshaw Pact). </p>
<p>Yeah! That’s is funny! I do think Turkey is considered a Muslim country, but not an Arabic country, just like Iran isn’t an Arabic country (former Persia, but I could be crazy here). </p>
