Just call the NMSC at 847-866-5100. They are open! I only waited a few seconds to speak to someone. They will tell you if your student is a Semifinalist or Commended. They will also give you the cutoff score of one state.

The cutoff score for NJ is 224, same as last year. My daughter missed it by one point.

They also told me that Commended certificates will be mailed to the high schools.

Congratulations to all Semifinalists and Commended Students, and their parents!

More state lists will turn up in the next several days, but not many. I e-mailed the newspapers in 2 of our larger cities several days ago asking them to publish our state list. Until 2 years ago, one of them did so for years, but then stopped for no reason. I’m waiting to see if either takes up my request. Today we didn’t even get the usual list of names in our county. They can’t discontinue that or there will be an uproar. Maybe tomorrow…

I just called for my daughter’s score for Kentucky, just to make sure she is on their list! The cutoff is 210, just like eburke73 and a previous poster had said. Thanks so much for posting the list for all states. Our school hasn’t said anything yet. Hooray, she made it! It will have a big impact on our choice of schools. Thanks for all the supportive posts, I have read a lot but posted just a few times. May all the students, no matter their score on this one test, have a great senior year!

As a mother of twins here is what I would say: You did great! You missed it by one point which means you probably missed 1/4 of a question that your brother/sister did! It stinks but it is no big deal. The PSAT is a snapshot of one test on one day of your life. Most schools will not care about the one point difference on the PSAT. They will be impressed by your ACT/SAT scores! You would have been national merit if we had moved to Mississippi! I am very proud of you.

@eBurke ,I will really appreciate if you could mail me the list for Spring-ford high school.Royersford,PA at rkhans@****. Thanks again for your time.
