I don’t even have a kid in this year’s competition and I’m loving the posts I’m reading. Two years ago DS was NMSF==>NMF==>NMS, and I remember how very proud and joyful I was when we initially found out that he made it in. I suspect each and every one of you experienced the same feelings when you found out. Congrats to all that have made it!! I’m crossing my fingers for those still on the bubble.

Thanks for the news from GA!

Any word for NC yet

I’m surprised nobody has heard in Minnesota. I’m not worried but it would sure be nice to get confirmation.

Any word of CA cutoff? Hearsay comment claims 222. Would appreciate confirmation so I can get some sleep!

im waiting for someone to post on MN - my D scored a 217 - fingers crossed !

We were called into the principal’s office today and saw D’s name, in writing, in the book. Yeah!!!

I just got notified from my school that I am a NMSF… I scored a 220 and I’m from Illinois :)

Confirmed from our principal, AL = 209

@ruchika5107 thanks for posting - and congratulations.
Finally some news from IL!

Commended (national cutoff) = 201

Got my results today, and figured I should make an account to share with you guys because I know how antsy I was this past week while watching this thread! Oklahoma for sure didn’t go up, as I qualified for Semifinalist with a 210.

EDIT: Whoops, probably should note that my counselor showed me the letter with my name straight from National Merit.

MN here- 220

@tonprince, did you get news about your status,or just hanging out here with us for fun?

yeah, @tonprince can you please clarify if you are reporting the score you got or if that is the cutoff for MN that you heard from your school? you just made my heart racing now by being so cryptic on your post!
