***Class Of 2015 NMSF Qualifying Scores***

@moretolife4, good luck! Last year’s cutoff for Florida was 214, and scores seem to be dropping! Hope you get good news soon!

WHAT?!! I had to go get DS at the high school. People, are we SURE? @hagzzz, I don’t mean to question you, but could you please confirm because yes I am basically hysterical at this moment…

The scores are seeming to come in about one point above the low of two years ago.

see post 1733 @GoAskDad‌ !!

So funny that I am in VT and was SO excited to hear about the cut off in Kansas! Congratulations GoAskDad!

@GoAskDad - I really really hope you get the cutoff score you are looking for!

The state model of apportioning NMSF does not, imo, address the most obvious issues of rural vs. suburban school districts and high income vs. low income school districts. Don’t know how to make it more fair, so I suppose NMC is doing the best they can with different cutoffs based on state statistics.

are there anymore californians?!

My kid is in the basement and I am crying & shaking so I don’t want to tell him anything…but if this is true than I am the happiest person IN THE ENTIRE WORLD right now and my 87-year-old mom can stop saying the Rosary 24/7, so please, please @hagzzz can you PM me w/any more specifics and I’m gonna get you a Chipolte gift card or whatever you want for giving me this news!! (because you are a student, correct?) If you are a parent then I will buy you a case of something…

Commended (national cutoff) = 201

I’ve been lurking here for a while. Thanks for all the great information. Reporting in from Florida with a 215.

You are too funny @GoAskDad. I think you could run for office at this point. How about head of NMSC and PSAT/NMSQT for starters?

@kli586, can you tell where you got the Alabama news?

beyondfrelief, are you reporting that you have news about Florida, or just joining the party? Happy to have you.

Champagne spritzers all around to celebrate and revive goaskdad over in the corner.

Yea! @goaskdad!! Life is good and it is definitely 5pm somewhere!

Good to see Missouri’s cut off at 213

@beyondrelief, are you reporting that you are a notified NMSF with a 215 in FL or are you saying you have a 215 and are waiting?

I am soo unbelievably nervous right now…. sitting in PA with a 215!!! AHHHH the agony is literally killing me

Georgia student here:
Talked to my counselor today, qualified with a 216 and a friend made it with a 215. Also talked to someone who didn’t make it with a 212.
In other words:
212 < GA Cutoff </= 215

Congrats to those who know they qualified and good luck to everyone else!! I really hope PA drops two points… missing NMSF by one point will sting too much…;(
