@Fahi12 YES! Exactly like that. Why can’t they either tell us how they send them out (Alphabetically, by school, etc.) or just send the acceptances first!
Waitlisted…not something you want to hear after getting rejected by USC and Berkeley…all in the same day.
I guess they get off seeing us like this.

@tennisgirl2015 Just saying, I don’t want to come off as being rude, but I said in my post, and my application, I logged in over 200 hours of volunteer work, administering medicine in third world countries for over 3 weeks at a time. I also volunteered in soup kitchens in the city, the NYU Langone medical center, and other food pantries. I don’t know why I was rejected either, but saying i didn’t do an ample amount of volunteer work is pretty offensive

@IX2015 we don’t know yet. We need one person to get rejected that had the housing change to prove it false.

My heart goes out to all applicants who’ve received rejection/waitllist letters so far …you’ve all probably worked your asses off all of hs it just sucks the admissions counselor didn’t see your potential.
Even knowing that I’ll go to UT Austin bc of the tuition, I can’t help but be super nervous for this rn…gonna finish hw and not check again until 7:30 good luck everyone!
@Elhwayn I didn’t read you having any when I first read your comment, so I assumed you didn’t have any. That’s usually how these posts go, you list all that you have. I know many students who graduate top of their class with perfect stats and they don’t have much volunteer work, which is the only real “logical” reason that they don’t get in. My mistake…I am currently studying for a test on another window and I guess I didn’t read your post /fully/ while trying to memorize a crap ton of artists and pieces and worry about my own decisions.
