Anyone accepted to Liberal Studies in Florence? I would like to make some friends before making such a huge leap!

@fbarrett532 – Does your letter say you should go to Florence for the first year? I wouldn’t worry if it does, we’ve been in Florence many times (my wife as professor associated with the U in Florence) and it will (ought to be) a good experience, even in the first year.
Yay got a CAS scholarship for 31,310 per year!!! Hopefully USC will give me good aid too [-O<

this may be a dumb question but does anyone know if it is at all possible to appeal your LS decision? (I believe I was only placed there because I said I was undecided/wanted small classes/really wanted to go abroad but now I’m rethinking it and I’m not so sure)

Wow. The acceptance email just caught me by surprise… this was my reach school. Now I kind of wish I would’ve applied to some Ivies or something; I wanted at least one rejection haha.

our son was accepted into tisch for theatre. any idea about when he will get his studio assignment as it will be a deciding factor whether he attends or not. he got into ucla’s musical theatre program as well. anyone with an opinion on the comparison of the two? how many students are in each year at tisch? how is the talent level at tisch?
Yeah, earlier today. Looks like I also got a 30k scholarship for 2016, although I’m not sure what happens after 2016. I might actually be able to attend—I never thought this would happen!

put liberal studies in Florence as my top because I assumed it was a good program, I guess I was mistaken. Is there no way to appeal this
applied for CAS and got accepted to the core liberal studies program…so feeling pretty crappy right now but also happy? idk very conflicted because from what I’ve seen the liberal studies program has a very bad stigma.
Hey I’m in the same situation I got into Poly and my Albert financial aid status says award access not available…did you figure out what it means or how to view our aid?

I’m in the same situation as well. I got into Tisch, it says award access not available, but I demonstrated financial need in time +I have the following stats: 2080 SAT, two 800 SAT subject tests, 3,9 UW GPA, really good ECs. 
Does that mean we’re not getting financial aid or that there’s simply something wrong with Albert?
Ok this is sort of messed up.
I got accepted in CAS NYU but I missed my financial aid deadline, and let’s say it wasn’t received. I did tick the fin. aid option in commonapp however.
- is there any way I can still be considered for financial aid?
- If not, can I apply again next year?
If it’s of any importance, I’m an International student.

Can I use my scholarship to pay for my housing and meal? Or do I have to use my scholarship only when I pay the tuition fee? Please someone answer me it’s urgent!!
