CLASS OF 2019 REGULAR DECISION APPLICANTS

Does anyone know the timeline of decisions from previous years? help a sister and her anxiety out!

Funny how rejections are usually sent out first, which means entire school days will be ruined.

Guys. The decisions are coming out in waves, so don’t freak out if you don’t get one in the first wave.
27th before sunrise and late afternoon.
Best of luck.

Also, this is the most interesting college CC I’ve seen.
YAYFOOD.

@curlyhair1997‌ Rejections are sent out in the morning, acceptances in the afternoon. So if you wake up at 6am and have an email from NYU, it’s not a good sign

@SoulOverBody‌ seriously though I won’t be able to deal if I wake up to my rejection letter why do they do this to us

No sleep for me tonight.

No, from their blog post, we can infer that emails will go in waves. Which means, like the example of NY they used, acceptances and denials can go out together in NY before sunrise.
They could’ve changed it up this year.
First time they said they will have it sent out morning and afternoon to avoid school time.

Woosah.

So decisions go out first to the eastern time zone?

Thank u @anonye

So I was going to make cupcakes but in the middle of everything I realized I don’t have like half the ingredients…

@nativeamerikat‌ what type of cupcakes

I’m not checking my email until I get home tomorrow

So, question:
Does anyone know if we’ll find out if we got into our desired program in the same email as the one that will tell us if we got in the university? Obviously if it’s a rejection I’m not in the program, but if I’m in the university, do I find out if I got into Tisch in that same email?

So is it true that rejections come out in the morning and acceptances in the afternoon?

@thefilmgeek94‌ I’m wondering this also!

And I think now they’re doing it in waves based on location not acceptances/denials based on that blog post. Who knowssss

@jtharrison0528‌ Ferrero Rocher Nutella cupcakes, but I’m too poor to buy Ferrero Rocher, so they’re just going to have to be Nutella cupcakes

getting into nyu would be like 15 birthdays, christmas, kwanzas, hanukahs, diwalis, halloweens, and valentines day combined.

@cdcupcake‌ I did some research. In the first line of the acceptance email, it should say, “You have been accepted into (insert school name here).”
