i was just able to access the housing portal and was a “Non-renewable undergraduate”, what does this mean?? someone answer ASAP I’m freaking out
I’m pretty sure all undergrad applicants can access the portal. The decisions are being finalized today so I wouldn’t worry about that.
@Olivelights can you access it? you log on and go to your NYUHome, click on tab NYU Life and you scroll down and you can click on housing and it gives you a profile on yourself and an application
can anyone try it? I’m so excited!

@Alison177 @ihihihi yeah, it comes out on April 1st but sometimes it comes 1-2 days earlier.
I can login to the housing thing, but it gives me the option of off-campus housing… When in actuality I indicated that I am going to live on-campus on the Common Application… I’m not sure if I should let the NYU Admissions people know, because this link seems fishy to me

I think that everything will come together and work out the way it’s supposed to after decisions are released. I wouldn’t be talking to the admissions office about issues with your housing portal or anything else really until you know anything for sure. It’s highly possible that things just look funky until decisions are made and your account is updated.
That happened to me too but I googled “NYU Housing Portal” and logged in to normal undergrad housing
@Rantahu they’re being finalized today as in all the decisions have been made but they won’t be released until April first
I can access all of the NYU portals with my nyu ID.
so i guess having access to off campus housing instead of on campus housing is not a big deal then???
There’s no way to indicate whether we were accepted or not until the decisions were locked into the NYU database
I don’t have access to the undergraduate housing portal, just the off-campus one, and I’m starting to freak out. I hope this doesn’t mean anything.
