@wozmom Regarding deposit to a school, - you are not allowed to double deposit. I read that the terms of the Common App state that you can only deposit and hold your spot at one school. If you double deposit and they find out, the schools can rescind the offer of admittance. So you can’t hold a spot into a MT school program by depositing and also deposit into a school where you are academically accepted but still waiting to hear about MT acceptance.
Seems like a situation worth discussing with admissions personnel.

I felt so sorry for myself (D is at the beach and could care less right now) I made German chocolate/chocolate cookies.
Have I mentioned how much this process sucks? Yes? Well, I’ll say it again … this blows.
But I doubt I could convince her to become an accountant at this point in time.

@KaMaMom we have fund raiser KK donuts! luckily we gave away 2 of the 5 boxes or I could be in big trouble! I am a stress eater! Who am I kidding, I’m in big trouble 
@KaMaMom , I tried to get The D to major in accounting. Didn’t work!
We just got a call from Texas State. Our hearts start racing as my daughter answers the phone… “congratulations on your acceptance to Texas State, we wondered if you have any questions and your likelihood of coming to our school?” If they call from the Musical Theatre Department, the likelihood would be extremely high, otherwise the likelihood is close to none.
OMG! Would these schools talk between departments, please! One thing is to not hear anything, but to get a phone call from the school when you are hoping to get one from the Musical Theatre department is cruel and unusual punishment!!! :(( X( :ar!

We had the exact same thing happen last Friday when Pace was making calls. So aggravating. Just think, only a few more weeks of this and we should all be wrapped up. We’ve come a long way since August, but this last part is totally frustrating and difficult!

A no from CCM, I loved the campus and the facility but I didn’t get a good feel for the environment, audition, or the students. But I did get a yes from Ohio Northern and Western Michigan! I still have yet to hear back from Point Park, the Hartt school, Baldwin Wallace, and UW-Stevens Point. THE WAITING IS SERIOUSLY KILLING ME!!!
