Class of 2019 (the journey begins) - Sharing,Venting, Etc

Curious about the “Pace accepting 70-percent minoroties” comment. I don’t wantvto start an issue but it seems like each program goes for the most potential it sees in its applicants and the fit for their school. If I was admitted to that program I would think that comment would be putting me down either b/c I was accepted due to my ethnicity not based on the fit for the school and what they see me as able to do in the future under their direction.

@MTnewbie1 Where did you see the comment “Pace accepting 70-percent minoroties” ? I have not seen or heard that before. Just curious…

So…it’s Friday, March 13th…did anyone hear from Syracuse yet?

@shopforpunky – not here. D auditioned in Chicago. Nothing today, nada, niente. zilch — ARGHHHHH!

Lol @Divamamacita‌ !!! So much for the “every Friday in March” theory I guess…

@Patrice13‌ it was in a post above in this thread. It looks like the person who posted it deleted most of the post. I wasn’t trying to start something. It just seems as if it was said in a way that wouldn’t make the accepted students feel like they were being given the same “best fit for the school” feeling as other program acceptances and congratulations are being give. In this forum.

Still waiting on two schools here! How many schools is every one else waiting on? I keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel!

Right?! OMG! I thought I had it all figured out Ha!

Four – still four. Ugh.

We are part of the Final Four as well!!

Like the March Madness reference @tmygirl‌!

We’re waiting for 3

I can’t believe we’re still waiting for six.

Just remembered the seventh. Aargh. Waiting for seven.

Ok, @hopecladwell wins!!! =D>

SIX (although we basically know the answer from CMU)

Five. Including two of her top picks.

We are still waiting for 8. 3 of them some people have heard from, we’ve heard nothing. 5 of them are very late notifications. :frowning:

Party of Five here!

Thanks!
