Congratulations!!!

Congrats, @Theatremom2015â !!! And for the rest, I just called BW to make sure my all of my Dâs paperwork had been received as we had received an email saying that she was missing things. They had it all, but for whatever reason, it was not marked that they had it all so she would not have gotten a decision letter as they do not mail them out unless all paperwork & supplemental materials are in. She said that they had just started sending out decision letters but they couldnât send them out if things were missing. So, if your kid applied and you hear nothing, you might call them and find out if they have everything marked as âreceived.â Just an FYI.

To be clear- I didnât mean to avoid posting on social media (esp if you have good news to share). But if you know other people who are also waiting it is nice to let them know individually that your decision is in- and ask about theirs

On another thread there was a reference to âfactory schoolsâ that referenced UMich and CCM in particular. Iâm assuming thatâs not a positive designation but am not really sure whatâs meant. Can anyone enlighten me? Why would these be referred to as âfactory schoolsâ and what other colleges would you label that way?

Without speaking to any school in particular- the term âfactory schoolâ (as I understand it) refers to schools that turn out a very specific âtypeâ of performer. As in âyou can tell that person X is from __________â.

Ah, so not necessarily casting aspersions. I would still be curious to know what âtypesâ various schools are known for turning out.

@vocal1046â I remember discussing this last year. It was more on the line of how good looking everyone at CCM seems to be. ;)) I think this is it

PSâŠI added the emoticon because I know you love them.

I wish I could click like and helpful and funny and tension-alleviating and every other icon. I so appreciate when posters here can, yâknow, actually see some humor. I was looking at some older postings yesterday and saw that many of my own had emoticons attached to them that I am certain I did not append - often that âshameâ one that caused such confusion on the agent gifts thread. Ah, the mysteries of errant keystrokes.

I want to second the checking to make sure everything is there. We sent test scores to 4 schools on the same day and one still has not received them although the other three did and all on different dates. You just can never be to careful.

Annoyingactorfriend (whom I know some like and some donât" calls CCM kids âprairie hottiesâ

So, no one has chimed in on âPeter Panâ yet⊠surprising. I thought it was great (without micro-analyzing individual performances)⊠and much better than âSound of Music.â Also, do you think the Lost Boys were former Newsies???

Loved, loved Wendy :ar! (finally got to use that emoticon) :ar!

I thought it was big fun and a local girl from an insanely talented family (her brother went on last night as Aladdin on Broadway, he is u/s) was Tiger Lily! The dancing especially was off the hook fantastic!

@MTmom2015â some were Newsies yes. The dancing and choreography was great.

My son knows Wendy and one of the Lost Boys - former classmates. It was fun to see them perform on TV.

There were a number of Newsies (including I believe the dance captain) I thought the choreography last night was fun- and remarkably similar to Newsies- I thought someone might slip up and say âseize the dayâ rather than âI wonât grow upâ. I enjoyed the performance, but did anyone think the quasi romance between Peter and Wendy read strangely on the small screen (I liked both performers overall, but that aspect struck me as odd with intimacy of tv)

Anybody find anything âfunâ in their mailbox today? Our mail hasnât come yet, although Iâve already checked it twice!

@toowonderful Since we all know Peterâs actual gender, and with the close ups, yes it made that which is strange even stranger. The âcrushâ on Peter is sweet, and Peterâs reaction typical of a boy unaware of girls, (one who doesnt want to grow up) but yes, it was awkward last night, I agree.

Anyone heard from Shenandoah recently about prescreens ??

Yes BroadwayBaby, d sumitted nov 26 and got a yes on the first
