Please understand…the best merit awards come from the colleges to which you are admitted…so start looking for colleges where you would qualify for scholarships.
You also mention engineering as a possible major.
What can your parents contribute annually to your college costs?
Look at the University of Alabama campuses…I believe you would be some merit aid there…guaranteed. @mom2collegekids can you provide the details?
