@milmom2 Was it a yes? Wondering if the only emails so far are the acceptances. We haven’t heard from Coastal yet, so I’m afraid no new is NOT good news.

I think I need to take up knitting. My fingernails are shot. This is so nerve wracking!!! Less than three weeks and we should all be done! (We won’t even talk about WLs! 8-} )
Yes- congratulations to all those who got an acceptance today. Will be hoping for positive news soon particularly for those still waiting for a first yes! It must seem like everybody is getting in everywhere and that is not the case. Keep the faith & kudos to you all for being honest about how hard this process is. I know that it’s a lot easier to share the acceptances than the rejections.
My S just got an acceptance email from Coastal Carolina about 10 minutes ago so they are still sending them…as hard as it is, try to stay positive!
My S was accepted to Baldwin Wallace Acting BFA this afternoon by email. Very happy!
Glad to see all the Coastal acceptances! You will notice many of the acceptances are Sons. They are looking for quite a few guys this year! If anyone has any questions about Coastal, feel free to pm me. If I don’t know the answer likely my D will!

Was hard for my D today, No from Emerson her 4th no in a row! We don’t have any acceptances to date:( Only one redirect to BA theatre at FSU. Luckily we have the FL State Thespian Festival the next few days to keep us busy! We visited Emerson last summer and it was high on her list! Hoping for better news with the next one! Two more auditions to go at safety schools! Waiting to hear from 4 more!

On the roller coaster of MT auditions, my S was accepted to JMU for MT!! Hoping for good news for everyone still waiting.
@bdedad was the BW acting decision an email? Our friend is waiting but hadn’t heard yet
@theaterwork yes, it came via email. We also received what seemed to be a mass email from BW on Monday saying that all notifications would be sent on Wednesday. Your friend should double check spam folders etc. If nothing, I would get in touch and make sure they have the correct email etc. it’s our understanding and experience that they send everything via email simultaneously. My S received a no back in January from their MT at the same time a friend got a yes.
@rpmjsmom tell your D not to stress!!! I had 4 straight no’s going into yesterday, and then finally picked up 2 yes’s in one day. It will all workout, and now that it’s happened to me, I can say that with 100% confidence. I got accepted to a school on what I thought was arguably my worst audition (read; nobody really knows how they did and it’s important to not obsess over it) so anything is possible!
So excited to see Coastal acceptances!!! My daughter is a freshman MT BFA major and is sooooo pleased with the well-rounded training she is receiving!
