@actingdreams UCF isn’t accepting applications anymore. Their pre-screen deadline passed a long time ago. I was just commenting that they have one more audition date coming up.
@JayCee17 or anyone else with knowledge, how does Miami notify about MT acceptances? My D can see on her portal that it says “freshman class 2018”, but we are guessing that just means she was accepted academically.

@dramamama2022 - the general Mismi boards said that there is a new message in the portal - though they reported that the music school (Frost?) isn’t out yet. My S’s portal doesn’t have a new message (he applied to BFA-Acting). Where does it say freshman class 2018? I didn’t see that.
@dramamama2022 - Wait! I was wrong. On the student center page, there are a series of green horizontal bars. The last bar says “Admissions” and under that is a box telling you if you got in and to which program.
Anyone waiting for Hartt: I emailed the admissions department, and they said that notifications will be done by mail, and that the letters “will be postmarked no later than April 1st”. Which means that we could potentially hear as late as April 5th or 6th, depending on the mail. But hopefully no later than that!
The issue is that my S didn’t get into any BFA programs that he wants to go to. 
Our only option right now for any type of theatre/combination of theatre is to go BA route.
Thank you to everyone for your comments about BW vs Muhlenberg! We are in the NY area, so it sounds like Muhlenberg is definitely the right choice. Now, we’re waiting to get the acceptance/rejection and financial package. Can’t wait for May 1st!!!
@penpal11, I never post on here, but your post moved me to action. I am going to tell you what I told my S who happens to be hearing crickets from his top choice schools this week. This has been a long and agonizing journey for you and yes, your parents! You put yourself out there in the most vulnerable way ever. I know that it is easy for me to say as an adult, but you need to focus on how brave and talented you are. I don’t know if I could have performed under that pressure at your age. SO WHAT?! The school with a BIG reputation and an even BIGGER price tag went in another direction. Their loss, I mean that. Frankly, I am realizing how ridiculous this whole thing has become. Who knows what the trend is these days for what they were looking for. Don’t you let anybody, auditor or program define your self-confidence. Obstacles are meant to be overcome. Fighters find a way, and it usually is not the path well traveled.

My D’s portal says she’s admitted to Arts and Science. No mention of MT. I don’t know if they do artistic acceptances separately.

I can see where I have been admitted to the college of arts and sciences, but I don’t see where it says the program. Where did you find the actual program decision?
@JayCee17 ours doesn’t say the program either. It just says Arts and Sciences.

I remember the MT program isn’t a part of Frost… It’s a part of arts and sciences, but the portal doesn’t say MT so I don’t know.
