@dontaskme1 , I know two people who auditioned at Montclair on Feb. 3 and found out on Feb. 16 (one acceptance, one rejection). Maybe check your online portal? If nothing’s changed there, maybe give it another week and then call them if you don’t hear anything.
Anyone hear from Penn State?
D was deferred by Penn State after a January audition. Her portal status says “your application is currently under review.”
We got a NO from Penn State on the portal and in the mail. My D auditioned at NYC Unifieds.
@dontaskme1 my daughter auditioned at Montclair at NYC Unifieds as well. Her portal still says waiting on audition.
@collegemom2000 i just looked at the Montclair portal and it also says waiting on audition - but then oddly it says fall 2018 admit freshman undecided and then fall 2019 admit freshman musical theater?! Why would it add a line about 2019? Anyone else have that?

My D auditioned on campus on 1/27 (weekend after NYC Unifieds). Her portal still says missing audition. @savedrama4momma I like the sound of that extra 2019 line for you!!
haha- but 2019??!! what?!! I might have my daughter call if we don’t hear anything by the end of the week. Seems so weird!

Has anybody heard from Ithaca? I know quite a few rejection letters have been received? I believe acceptances are due to start soon? Does anyone know how they notify?
@FourStars we were at Ithaca on Saturday (last audition date for Ithaca). They said that they would make decisions over the coming days. They do not send out acceptances until they see everyone. I’m actually not recalling how they said they would notify…@dramaqueen219 do you happen to remember?
@MThopeful2022 I actually don’t recall how they contact (I don’t think she specified). Last night, while suffering from insomnia, I went back to last years decision page to look at dates. The earliest postings for Ithaca were early March.
@collegemom2000 and @MThopeful2022 i just checked with Montclair admissions… i was too curious… LOL. Anyway - they said they will begin notifying applicants from all 3 unifieds by next week so we should hear soon. Whatever our portal is doing, i have no idea… but it is not an artistic admit.

Heard from a friend of my son that They already got a rejection from NYU and Miami in MT. Does that sound possible? I thought nothing cMe out until the end of March for NYU
Unless they did NYU as ED - otherwise, all decisions come at once, at end of March
@mommafaria, do you know when your son’s friend audition for the University of Miami?
My D received a “no” from CCM the Friday after Unifieds, which we expected - and so did a couple of her friends. However, others have not yet heard anything, which I would take as still under consideration. Good luck!!
What I hear about BoCo is that being a dancer can be very beneficial but if you’re a really strong singer a lack of dance training (i.e., being a mover) won’t hurt you. My D also felt that their dance call was very difficult but also was fun.
