Can someone please chance my son who is currently a junior ?Sat scores will be in 1200 range , weighted gpa 4.0 , uw 3.7 , multiple Ap classes and one ib class. Multiple extra curricular activities . Interested in psychology as major . Thanks
@johndan32 thanks for your feedback. I thought I saw that maybe he was in the range for gpa but maybe not sat scores . I could be wrong. Maybe worth as a reach . Thanks again
You son’s stats fall within the average stats for 2015, although some of SU colleges are more competitive (i.e. Whitman, Newhouse ). Definitely apply!

Thanks @mommabear67 . I kind of thought so. He won’t be applying to any of the more rigorous schools so he might have a decent chance . Thanks again.
@mommabear67 . Are you a parent of a current student ? If so , does your son/daughter like it ? Happy ? Thanks
Yes, my D is a freshman. She does like it, lots of ways to get involved! She even
likes the extremely cold weather.
@Senior_1999 - definitely show interest in SU and help your son increase his SAT scores; he still has time. My S is a freshman engineering major and absolutely loves 'Cuse. He is so happy and busy that we hardly hear from him. He cannot imagine going to college anywhere else! He bought the $200 all-sports package with his summer job money and has gone to every home football game and almost all home basketball games this season (missed a game last month because of finals and an engineering project). You can DM if you have any questions (I haven’t been on CC in months).
@Kimo2017 thanks so much for your response . That’s so great that your son loves it so much ! There are so many things that sound right about Syracuse for him. He’s taking act in February and sat in March . I’ll make sure he shows interest with a visit, contact with admissions counselor , and and interview . Thanks again !
