@mountainmomof3 the UFID has been there since the beginning but I don’t see the countdown clock on my profile. I also don’t see anything that says welcome to #UF23. It might be that I didn’t get in but I just want to make sure I’m looking in the right place.
@mountainmomof3 I just found what you’re saying, I checked on another browser that I’m not logged into my portal and I think everyone has that. There’s a share the news button and a #UF23. I think everyone has this.
@sagh527 - nothing about your application status will give a decision yet. They don’t go until closer to 6. the admissions page has changed to count down to the decision and then an easy way to share the news on social media if a student is admitted.
When I click here https://admissions.ufl.edu/enroll/freshmanenrollmentchecklist
it says “now that you’re a gator” - not sure if this is standard for everyone?
@nymommy123 - Yes, everyone see that
@ mountainmomof3 That’s new but everyone can see it I believe
@melissa96 that’s what I assumed, I can’t see the countdown on safari so I was confused because I thought this was on her son’s portal. I saw the countdown clock on chrome and understood the situation.
@Melissa96 - yes but I find it weird they would already post the link to let him share his acceptance since he hasn’t been officially accepted.
@mountainmomof3 it’s not a link to share your acceptance, it’s a link to share UF decisions are coming out. Everyone has the link.
@mountainmomof3 Getting websites ready to go. Didn’t want to change too many pages at once.
Last min chances?

strong essay, ecs, letters of rec
Ive already been accepted to UMiami, but just wondering my luck w a state school THANKS GUYS!
@sagh527 - if I click it it takes me to twitter and auto fills “I’m in.” I don’t think it means anything but after 6 other acceptances for S19 I find the process unusual. As mentioned above, they are getting ready to roll out decisions and it is obviously quite a process with so many applicants! Good luck to everyone!
Weighted as for his high school. UF has it’s own system which I’m not going to try and figure out - lol
almost time!
what time is it expected to come out?
6:00 but last year came out at 5:30 @ecart17
They hit the send button at the office of admissions then immediately leave for the weekend. This gives the 30k people that did not get in 2-3 days to cool off before admissions works again. Smart strategy…
@fl1234 That is exactly how I picture it. Someone hit send as they turn off the lights for the weekend. Good strategy if you ask me, unlike FSU who wait around until 9:00 pm answering calls. I say that is a smart way to do it.
decision is out for me: rejected
