I thought they can see the other schools listed on your FAFSA
@kcgirl316 ^^^
@goneers237 I have never heard of that limiting anyone’s chances. Her stats are great!
Does everyone have after logging in:
Forms
Optional Click here for UFID
I’ve never heard of that before, but I hope it’s not the case. Our daughter applied to several OOS schools as well. I can’t imagine they would be penalized for that, or how colleges would even know where they’ve applied. As competitive as UF is, it’s a good idea to have other options I would think. Perhaps GatorDad305 or Gator88NE would have more insight. Good luck!
@nymommy123 yup. It’s been that way for a while.
@goneers237 Colleges can no longer see the list of colleges you applied to on the FAFSA.
@Nymommy123 - yes
@Nymommy123 yes. Click here for UFID is in orange.
And under that is the application checklist.
Not sure it looks any different than it’s looked all along. I hadn’t really checked it much because I knew they announced on a certain day.
Actually - my S19 has been given an UFID # and then below on the “check status” page is a freshman checklist and when opened it says “Now that your Gator” – has that always been there?
My SAT scores disappeared from the application just now. Did this happen for everyone?
@mountainmomof3 Really? That’s new.
@hoosier2000 yea mine are gone too
Login screen changed earlier today for me
@mountainmomof3 where does it say now that you’re a gator? is it under the check status page?
@nymomm123 does yours say “now that you’re a gator” also?
@sagh527 - I went thru admissions to the button that says “Apply” and that brought me to check status button next to a big countdown clock. When I click status it just takes me checklist with “Click here for UFID” in orange and when I click it I can see his number.
When I go back to page with count down clock I can scroll down and there is “Freshman Checklist” and underneath says welcome to #UF23. When I open it that it says, “Now that You’re a Gator” and lists stuff
@nymommy123 - that changed for everyone - it isn’t tied to an application - it is just the webpage changing for decisions
And actually at the very bottom is a link to post the acceptance on social media. I think we will wait on that…
