It’s up for me. Over the last few days, it has been intermittent. It usually works after a few attempts and some time.

IMPORTANT QUESTION
The application button for the honors college disappeared on my status screen. There was 3 buttons in a line, Transfer Credits Tool, Honors College Application, and SRAR. My status has not been updated and still says my application is under review. Does that mean I probably didn’t get accepted into Penn State?
Hi Snowman,
My son was admitted and I just checked and the Honors button has disappeared for him too. Maybe there was a deadline to apply, but if not I wouldn’t despair based on what I see on his portal currently. Good luck!
Checked my sons portal and for what it is worth his Schreyer button is also gone. Deadline was December 3.

@booknerd00 Congratulations!!! Unfortunately, PSU is not known for giving merit aid, but it wouldn’t be included in your letter. Have you applied to Schreyers? The honors college grants $5000 a year.

For those of you with lots of Penn State experience, what are the best things about going there? Academics, culture, environment, etc. Trying to decide between a few now. Thank you!
For us, it’s a feeling of community. There is a distinct sense of pride that transcends all our differences. Some people say those outside of PA see us as a scary cult. Our sense of community is that strong and tends to be lifelong. I can be walking down the streets of Chicago or through an airport in Atlanta, and if I’m wearing my PSU sweatshirt, someone is bound to call out to me “We are…”. Our kids will always feel like we belong some place. Oh, and the football isn’t too bad either.
