Not to be rude, but why are moms on here trying so hard to get on their kids portals. Let them do it themselves! Remember this is their process not yours!

Tic tock… S is thankfully nonplussed - he’s gotten into 2 schools and he loves USC but he’s going to college so he seems to feel no pressure - me not so much

I read somewhere that previously when they sent acceptances in the mail it was done alphabetically by major. What if they did that this year? What is your major? and Congratulations!!

@sfuahfkcg Because my daughter left about 18 minutes ago to drive to the high school swim meet and asked me to. She will be warming up for the next hour and then swimming and cheering on friends after. I will meet her in about an hour and a half with hopefully good news. They can’t bring phones on the deck.
Question- have any of your portals updated to “awaiting official transcripts?” This is different that this morning when it said self reported transcripts received.
That’s funny my kid has no idea what CC is? He doesn’t have time or desire to go on and gossip about schools.

I’m a father but he has to open it … but his mother and I are both hopeful for him whenever it arrives… and fwiw Appalachian state posted decisions yesterday ahead of schedule for some EA applicants and did not send an email so … at least USC said something about the time frame
For us “transcripts received “ is gone entirely from the checklist
Having said that the kids are all talking to each other as well and not clueing us in (what a surprise) they all knew about App St - I think parents are mostly getting info here
$50 says the USC admissions staff is sitting around a conference table reading this thread right now laughing their a$$es off!! LOL! I always wonder about that (with all schools).
Because my son left for work at 4:45 and asked me to keep checking. 
Most parents do try to stay offsides but as someone else said, it’s like we are waiting for them to be born, because really, this is the birth of their new phase of life - the birth of their going into adulthood and we all want them to be successful!
