@hmilo394 we donât know what it means yet, we are suspecting denial, but it is all speculation

You can add the checkmark/no checkmark, if you want, but I think once decisions are released, weâll know pretty quickly if itâs true or not.

@hmilo394 according to our theory, not having the X means deferred/rejected. Doesnât necessarily have to be true though
@confusedpilot22 Agreed and College Confidential users would never be a representative sample of the population. Definitely skewed high performing.
I called UMich Undergrad Admissions and they say âthe Admissionâs checklist has glitches within the system, so an X or no X doesnât mean anythingâ
She then said âI cannot give you any clues, you just have to waitâ
I think the X is some kind of clue and I agree that having one is probably a good sign.

I agree. DS has only 5 lines, no X, but I kinda predicted that. Also, I noticed this final transcript line showing recently at a different school that has not released yet, and was making the same speculation. If your x theory is confirmed, same principle may mean good news elsewhere.
