Do you know when we might receive our financial aid package?

love when I get deferred with 3.9 and 1360 and how I literally put everything into that why michigan essay. Guess its back to the grind of writing a perfect LOCI. Congrats to everyone who got in, thats amazing and I hope you know how lucky you are to get the chance to go to the best school ever! Also does anyone know if you won’t find out until April or could they let you know before that.

    • So far we know 6 students from his high school deferred, 3 other boys accepted

So according to the results, it seems like I wasn’t good enough to get in (clearly, there are some amazing applicants on here) but was good enough for yield protection at the same time (or there is just something wrong with my application that I am not noticing). Love that for me!

oof. already wrote my LOCI. I want to submit ASAP so that I can get my decision ASAP.

My son and his roommate requested each other (found each other on the roommate finder Facebook group) and they’re in West Quad, FWIW.

In the past, UMich has had waves of RD releases on or about 2/1, 3/1 and 4/1.

Does not seem to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason to acceptance vs. deferred. Yield Protection seems to make sense.

Son was deferred.
