Class of 2024 undergrad/Class of 2022 grad: The Tours, the Auditions, the Journey

@raincat …still waiting…we are in Northern California (rumor on the USC thread is that CA will be released 3:30 - 4pm PST).

Thanks @Pocket22 so grueling. Good luck!

Well the long wait is over! S got a YES from USC today. We are all thrilled and plan on celebrating even though without the financials we don’t know if it will be a reality.

Someone on a previous year’s Journey thread pointed out the importance of celebrating these acceptances regardless of whether attendance will really be possible, because our kids have worked so hard to earn a spot. That really stayed in my brain this whole time so we will be having a celebration tonight.

Woo hoo @raincat! So happy for you and your son. Definitely celebrate this achievement. Fingers crossed that the financials work out.

Thank you so much @ikbux64, we’re very happy. One bright spot in this terrible time.

@raincat , Congrats! Same story here, my musician was admitted to Thornton today too, but it’s probably not financially feasible. We’re also choosing to celebrate for now! We can deal with reality tomorrow.

Good luck to those still waiting! We are still waiting for Miami (today) and Berklee.

Yes, good luck @rubypiano and everyone! The wait is almost over!

Yes. Thank you! I am trying to get 10 replies so that I can send a PM

Admitted to Miami!!!

Where can we find scholarship info?

Found the Miami scholarship info under finance section new awards subsection.

My daughter is accepted to Frost for Piano Performance with a good scholarship, but we are not sure if it’s worth it. FSU is basically free, but UM Frost will cost about $25,000 a year( dorm, meal plans and tuition). Can anyone please share if you would choose FSU or Frost?

Congrats to those who received acceptances to USC and Frost! Very tough to get into and deserving of big celebrations whether the financials work out for you or not! I remember this time so well last year. Stress, anxiety, relief, joy-such a roller coaster of emotions. And you all have the COVID-19 issues to contend with on top it! Such a challenging time. But you are in the home stretch as the final acceptances come in and your kids begin to narrow down lists and make the big decision. Good luck to all!

@blueyogi someone went through this last year: reach out to @vistajay. Super talented kid, very happy at FSU I believe.
