Hi all,

I haven’t been on this website in a terribly long time, but I know when I was on it last time (about 2 years ago), there was a website that showed the class profile for several different law schools. Is there still such a site?

I just basically am looking for the undergrad schools that applicants went to and the law schools they were admitted to (ie. the chance for a Rutgers student to get into UCLA law).

I’m trying to convince a friend not to transfer out of UCLA back to Rutgers and I’m getting desperate! I know it’s not much, but it’s something to go on. Thanks.

Unfortunately, if you’re trying to find an additional reason why your friend shouldn’t transfer, I don’t think you’ll find it by saying he’ll have a more difficult time getting into law school if he goes to Rutgers over UCLA. School reputation matters very little in the admissions process. If Rutgers has a smaller number/percentage of grads in top law schools, that’s probably mostly because Rutgers students on average have lower LSAT scores, but that has no bearing on your friend’s actual ability.

It could just be a matter of if the student is OOS in California (and paying close to 40k with very little FA) and in-state in NJ, saving a considerable amount of $$ for law school if s/he were to continue in-state.
