<p>You’re competing with all sorts of applicants, many of them ranked 1st or 2nd with the most rigorous courses. Everything is put into context, especially the rigor of your HS and how you fit in. Someone with your stats at Andover would not be compared to someone with the same at a public HS in, say, Nebraska. If you fall into the latter category, yes, it would. Why do you think Yale should choose you when there are others to choose from? Just my two cents. Good luck.</p>
