Class Rank

My high school uses unweighted class rank. Currently I am ranked 105 out of 806, but I take more rigorous classes than most people. I want to apply to Drexel’s BA/BS/MD Program, but the entry requirement is to be in the top 10% of graduating class. How do I resolve this issue? Will Drexel understand that my class rank is not a true class rank?

Also, will other colleges understand this as well?

Your rank is no less ‘true’ than most.

BS/MD programs take the top of the top. They will look for you to have gotten top grades in all of your school’s hardest classes.

They will know what classes you took and what your grades are. They would like to see
A s in the most challenging courseload your school offers.

Class ranks vary widely by school. As Redroses said, your class rank is no less true than anyone else’s. You are expected to do well in difficult classes.
