sorry this is probably really late in the process to make any difference but…
in the harvard supplement, it asked for our class rankings.
I know my rankings for our school, but it’s not weighed gpa, which means many ppl who took less challenging classes were able to rank in front of me, and that quite substantially lowered my rankings.
The ranking I reported was based on this scale. is this something worth notifying Harvard for? How much will this impact me?

(i reported top 10th percentile)

If you said ONLY “top 10th”, then they don’t even know if you’re top 1% or 9%. So it wouldn’t work AGAINST you, because they have nothing more to go on than that. However, they have your GPA/s, right. Your school should also send a prospectus, to explain their grading. This can also tell how much of your class is at what GPA level, so they can deduce your approximate rank. BUT, it should also explain that they rank on your non-weighted grade. Probably, Harvard will look at your unweighted GRADE transcript itself, factoring in AP/honors classes in whatever way THEY do, thereby recalculating it with their own formulat that they use on everyone so as to compare apples to apples.
