Class Registration Question

I am registering for classes on Tuesday during orientation. My original plan was:
MATH-M 119 with Whelan
BUS-A 100
BUS-T 175
BUS-K 204
HON-H 241
HISP-S 280

I chose Whelan based on ratings on ratemyprofessor.com, but the two sections of her class are basically full. The only other options are Koh and Judge. Is it worth taking with them, or should I replace it with ECON-E 201? I could take calc next summer, and I’m currently doing finite online. Any thoughts? Thank you!

My daughter had heard you will be overloaded with Bus A100 and Bus K 204… it is recommended those are in different semesters.

Your schedule will not be easy with either E201 or M119. That is 4.5 demanding classes. H241 may require a lot of reading and writing. Check out ratemyprofessor.com and grade distribution. The other honors N&M option could be the PSY P155 with Prof. Motz. For average honors students, 3.5 demanding classes are OK if they stay focused. You can take Folk F101. If you are really that good, you can take E201 with Prof Graf.

Would BUS-L 100 be a better choice than calc or Econ?

BUS L100 does not satisfy any requirement. I doubt that it is worthwhile taking. If you need A&H credit, F101 is a decent choice. If you have law school in your mind, you should consider a course in philosophy. But, that could be a demanding course too.

I was planning on using BUS-L 100 to satisfy part of my legal studies major, and it has a higher grade distribution.

Yes, that would work. Just keep in mind that there will be five more courses for you to satisfy the legal study requirement. It would be difficult taking on other double major.
