If we pre-enrolled for a class whose days/times are TBA (ex. Psych 1103 seminar), when will the schedule be released?

If you’re in CAS when you go to sign up for your classes in Goldwin Smith. I think.

If we pre-enrolled online, we still have to sign up for classes at Goldwin Smith? I thought the online system eliminated the need for that o_O

Pre-enroll is just a joke. It’s for your advisor to look at and approve of your schedule (which you need to go sign up for your actual classes).

^ That’s wrong. Didn’t they change the system for this year to make freshman pre-enroll online rather than in person? If so, then you won’t be going to Goldwin Smith or whatever. My guess is that for the psych seminars they will make an announcement on the first day of class about the times.

They did? Last time I checked with some people they still had that stupid pre-enroll like last year where it’s basically a schedule just for your advisor…

I’m pretty sure you’re right, tmk39. Also, do you mean that an announcement will be made in the Psych 1101 lecture? Because the 1103 seminars were optional, so not everyone signed up.

If that’s the case then they will tell you in lecture or it won’t start until the 2nd week. Something along those lines.

Aren’t there different seminars you can choose from or just one? Regardless, although there are only a few ppl, they would definitely make an announcement in lecture or send an e-mail to those enrolled in the seminar.

I think there are different seminars depending on what topic you are interested in, but I’m not totally sure. Anyway, thanks for the replies! I’m just a tad worried about finding one that will fit my current schedule.

It may be that they are a 1 day thing and the day hasn’t even been planned yet. Or some experiment type thing. If they’re weekly they’re probably planned at a time that tries to fit most people’s schedules.

So, I just had the brilliant idea to check the coursebook again…

“Choice of seminar topics and meeting times are available at the second lecture of Psych 1101.”

@lollerpants: it’s a weekly seminar.
