Classes for Transfer Students

My plan at UW is to apply for winter admission to Foster with the UAG.

This is the problem: I need to complete three more pre-admission requirements during the fall quarter, and two of them (Intro to Law and Managerial Accounting) are full already.

So, does anyone know how this process works for transfer students? Are there additional opportunities for us to sign up for these classes? Or are we just out of luck? I honestly don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t take those classes: it messes up my entire schooling plan, because I’ll have to wait until Fall 2012 to apply to Foster again.

I would try to get into those classes. If you’re going to Seattle Central…you can put yourself on the waitlist for the classes, and you will automatically be plopped in when it’s turn. So many people will drop classes from now until Fall quarter, so even if you can’t be on a waitlist, just keep checking the schedule…if you want to be in bad enough…a slot will open up

U can always email the teacher who teaches this class at ur cc. Explain the situation and he can add u. It happened to me personally.

Thanks for the replies. For now, I’m signed up for four summer classes in addition to a full-time job in order to complete these requirements. I am going to try to talk to an academic counselor soon and see what their opinion is on the issue.
