If i take two of the classes i am taking at the bs in the summer and then when i get there and seem to know everything, can i be asked to be moved into an AP class…or like will they prob give me a test and if i get a certain score then they will allow me???

thanks…btw those two classes are a science and a math.

It really depends on the school probably. What school is it?

they will probably encourage you not to do that, but if you justify yourself well you probably could. don’t know about the test… also it depends on what type of class you take… if you’re taking some kind of online course, then for science most likely they will ask you to take the actual course to do lab work

also i think you should think more about learning the material well rather than getting into the most advanced classes. In my opinion it’s better to get high grades in the introductory class and solidify the basics than to take an AP course, not learn the material well, and get mediocre grades.

Lawrenceville has no AP classes, I thought? Many classes sit for the AP exam, but they aren’t “AP classes”. My understanding is that they did away with them so as to allow the teachers more freedom.

Oh and I could be wrong, but I did apply there and I was under than impression.

A lot of schools don’t call their college-level courses AP classes, but usually after that course (for example say you took advanced biology) you take the AP exam so you can get credit in college
