Classes question

So if I take intro to chemistry my freshman year, what chemistry can I take sophomore year and if I do take it sophomore year, does that mean I have to take another science class?

It’s by quarters, not years.

Are you a science major? If so, then you’ll most likely be taking the general chemistry sequence your 1st year (Chem 6 series) and then organic chemistry your 2nd year (Chem 140 series)

the department websites for your major has a 4-year plan for students–it has all the classes in.
but i reckon most dont follow the plan to a tee…because…well. there’s room to move around the time at which you take the courses.

for example, the chem dept. [UCSD Chemistry & Biochemistry - Academic Programs](http://www-chem.ucsd.edu/academic/Ugrad/)
under “requirements for the major and minor”
those link will show you.
