It seems that a lot of spring classes are taught by Staff, including Physics II
Don’t people usually take Physics II in the spring, since a prerequisite is Physics I which is in the fall?

Who are the staff that teaches it? Are they any good?

Oh, “staff” just means that there’s not one professor who always teaches it – that they don’t want to say ahead of time who’s teaching it, because it might change. The courses that they list a professor for are the ones who have taught that particular course for the past zillion years.

Physics II in the spring is taught by a bunch of different professors, and each professor teaches a section or two. The current [class website](Physics 8.02 - Electricity & Magnetism) lists the profs who are teaching sections this term. Looking down the list, I don’t know all of them, although I had Roland and loved him, and I’ve heard Dourmashkin’s pretty good too.

And yes, most people take Physics II in the spring of their freshman year.
