I am a junior right now, and I was never able to take any AP classes. I have a GPA of 3.84, and I am enrolled in 3 AP classes for next year. They are environmental science, statistics, and English 4. I am taking calculus over the summer to get it over with, and physics AP is not an option for me.
If I plan to either go undecided and switch to engineering in college, would it be better to switch my enviro into regular physics?
Also, do EC’s and awards from elementary and middle school count to put in your college application?
<p>Not from elementary I’m sure about that…middle school…hmmm, in 8th grade if it was very significant. VERY significant.</p>
<p>But mostly they care about what you did during the 4 years in H.S.</p>
<p>Ya…I won the most “prestigious” award that my middle school gave out, it was a really huge deal in 8th grade…but I didnt put it on my app cause it was 8th grade…If something from middle school is still a highlight of your life than your high school experience has been pretty dull (<em>this has some exceptions of course</em>)</p>
<p>I’d change it to physics if I were you. But primarily because I like it and environmental sci sounds enormously boring</p>
