I’m living in Syracuse working while I finish up my last semester at Cornell. I want to maintain full-time student status, but my dilemma is I don’t want to go to Ithaca… ever. So what are some classes you’ve taken where there was minimal class attendance necessary? A final and prelim is about the max I’m interested in making the trip for, and as I’ve completed all courses required for my major, it can be in any area of study. Thanks for your help.

Financial accounting, but there’s a section.

It’d probably have to be a class with more than >30 people in it, so attendance doesn’t play as big of a factor. I’m not sure what type of classes you are thinking about, but oftentimes you do have to submit weekly hw assignments in boxes or during discussion sections.

Classes that fit your criterion that come to mind are CS 1110/1112/2110, the lecture slides are online, you submit the projects through CMS, no hw other than that, so you can just show up for the exams.
