Classes

I’m a soph in hs got some questions on classes.
Right now I’m on track to take Ap calc (AB)my senior year. Does it make a big difference that I’m not going to take Ap Calc (BC)? Do they look down on that I’m not going to take BC or is AB enough?
Also I really don’t like World Language and don’t want to take it my senior year. Is four years required, and should I take AP world language even though I want to take other Ap Classes?
Also how much of a role do Ap scores play? What if I get a 2 or a 3 on a Ap Test will that severly hurt my chances?
If you can please answer all my questions when you’re replying.
Thanks a lot for your response.

Getting low scores on AP exams won’t really hurt you since you don’t have to report them. You should probably take four years of a language, though. It’s pretty important. As far as the calculus thing goes, I don’t really know. Taking BC would be better, but if you’re not planning to major in math or the hard sciences AB will definitely suffice. Bottom line: the harder the class, the better it looks on a transcript.
