Classics and Journalism major

Currently a junior in undergrad, I’m trying to figure out what kind of grad school I want to go to, and I’ve always had my eye on law. Problem is I don’t know if I definitely want to be a lawyer-- the study of law sounds interesting to me, and that is a big reason I want to go to law school.

Anyway, my majors are Classics (involving Latin, Ancient Greek, and Roman and Greek history), Journalism-Reporting, and a minor in European Studies. Are these good preparation for law school? Does it sound like law school would be a good fit for me?

I enjoy grammar, writing, and learning/translating languages. I dislike history and math classes, although I did take some logic classes and did pretty well in them.

depends on what your LSAT is gonna be.

it doesn’t much matter if law school is going to be a good fit for you. It matters A LOT if being a lawyer is a good fit for you. Talk to lawyers. Try to shadow a few different types (criminal v. civil, big v. small firms, private practice v. government v. nonprofit). Think about where/how much you want to work and how law compares to other fields in providing that.

If the answer points to law, then take the LSAT and go from there.
