Classroom locations?

Where are most econ classes held?

I drove down to Charlottesville earlier today and looked at several apartment complexes. I’m trying to gauge the walking distance between the apartments i saw and the school - however, i’m not sure where most of my classes will be held.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

check out the course listings for econ classes:

it appears that the vast majority are held in the central grounds area.

here’s a map to help you out:

hope this helps.

Well depends on what econ. 201 and 202 big classes are in the chem auditorium. rest are spread out in the central ground buildings like maury and minor and such.

i guess most of my classes will be near or on the central grounds as i will be a rising junior this coming spring.

the apartment i’m leaning towards is approximately 1 mile from campus - not too far of a walk - also, the complex is near a bus stop that caters towards students

Third year ;)

how is the neighborhood on brendon avenue? I’m concerned that noise may be an issue for me in that general area.

I live at 600 Brandon Avenue this year and trust me, it is not one of the noisier parts of the UVA area. It’s very convenient if your classes are in central grounds, and very quiet most of the time.
