Not a ceiling fan; a regular old fan. Is there any easy way to clean one, short of taking it apart? The dust collects so fast and so thick.
If the only solution is to take it apart — well, I’m not doing it. I’ll sooner just buy another one before I’ll undertake that chore for a $20 fan.
Brush attachment on vacuum cleaner; also possibly take outside and blow dust through with a hairdryer.
I’ve taken many $20 fans apart to clean, and wondered about the economics of it. On the positive side, they look brand new and have avoided the landfill and the activity itself is simple and deliberate, not a bad way to spend an hour (working slowly). I may not solve the Korea problem but look at this fan!
Those fans are easy to take apart, put back together. One of ours (all older that we brought with us to a house with ceiling fans) has three clips you push, others screws. Worth the small effort to best clean. Using a blower or vacuum is the next best method.
