Cleaning question..toilet seat

Water spray, air spray, electronics, you name it. Just no.

I’m not a fan of bidet seats either. If you flush the toilet still sitting on it, before using the bidet seat, you are depositing lots of micro droplets generated by flushing onto your body that the spray may or may not get. If you are flushing after the wash, well
the spray of water hitting the contents of the toilet generates said micro droplets that go everywhere. Ewww
Do the do and do it fast, no phones or reading, use Charmin, close the lid, then flush and get out of dodge fast. And wash the hands well! For the same reason, I do not like MB with toilets that are not enclosed. Not everyone closes toilet lid while flushing! Norovirus, anyone?

Just an FYI, one of our soft close seats is wood and is made by Kohler. It’s a couple of years old, but I’m pretty sure I got it at Home Depot
after a plastic one cracked.

Our others are plastic. I don’t use bleach on any of them.

I read this thread and now I am getting e-mails from Wayfair and Home Depot about purchasing a new toilet seat!!! The internet is scary sometimes.
