<p>How clean are the dorm rooms on move in day? As a parent, should I bring cleaning supplies to clean the room before we move things in? Do you need to mop the floor?</p>
<p>Your student will think it’s fine…I would suggest Clorox wipes over EVERYTHING 
The nastiest stuff will be gone, but I doubt if most rooms would remotely pass the “white glove” test. A full can of Febreeze air freshner is a good touch, too. (But don’t expect that either will be used again all school year…)</p>
