Cleaning Up - Poop Patrol

San Francisco is going to be paying $71,760 salary to the people who will be steam cleaning the sidewalks of fecal matter. But it balloons to over $184,000 when mandated benefits are considered.

I wonder what teachers earn in San Francisco public schools? I know that medical residents in the city earn less than that. It boggles the mind.

Medical resident (apprentice) pay is not very high generally (relative to education level).

Sometimes it takes a higher level of pay to get people to take crappy jobs.

^^No pun intended.

Or was it?

“steam cleaning the sidewalks of fecal matter.”

Oh, so they’ll effectively be aerosolizing the poop? Fantastic! I can’t think of a better way to ensure people are breathing in the particles.

This is so dumb. Instead of converting public poop into a spray that will coat the city while paying people doctor level salaries to do so… why not work on stopping the public pooping in the first place?

Ha, ha, ha. Another sop to the unions. Auction off these jobs and you’ll find plenty of people willing to do it for all-in cost of less $184k. And I bet that all-in figure doesn’t factor in the enormous pension costs…

That article needed the grammar patrol.
