Clear this up please--- UC SAT/ACT SCORE REPORTS

Ok, so I took the SAT/ACT this past Janurary and June. I sent the free score reports to some of the UC’s I am applying to, but not to all of them. Do I need to order additional score reports to send to each of the school’s that I did not send the free score reports to?

???

I would assume you would need to. On the score report sending service, you can send the score to each respective college, I.E. UCLA, UC San Diego, etc, so I assume if you wanted Berkely to get it, you probably need to send one to them as well.

This is just what I believe though, and I have no facts to back me up.

any1 else?

I think that you need to send score reports to all of the ones you are applying to.

…I did.

No, according to UC web site and UC reps…you do NOT NEED TO SEND AN OFFICIAL SCORE REPORT unless you’re taking it in december.

Ok so if I took it this past June I don’t have to send an official score report? So people who need to send an official score report are those who will not be able to report their scores on their applications. Thanks a lot awakenedream!

starryqt22–you do not have to resend results to any UC that you sent reports to in June. But I think you DO have to resend results to UCs to which you did not send reports to in June. This is what the website says about sending testing results:

"Freshman Applicants

You are required to take the SAT I: Reasoning Test or ACT, plus three SAT II: Subject Tests.

If you are applying for admission for fall 2005, you must take the tests no later than December 4, 2004, for the SAT I and SAT II and December 11, 2004, for the ACT.

For SAT and ACT test dates, see important dates and deadlines.

You are responsible for making sure that the testing agencies report your scores directly to the Admissions Office at each campus to which you apply.

If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the agencies no later than the date in January when December test scores are normally reported."

The UCs don’t rely on self-reporting on test scores like they do on your grades. They require something from the CB.
