My boys use Degree Clinical Strength and swear by it.

My boys too…along with Shower to Shower body powder on the chest and back.

I agree that some don’t know the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant. Boys need BOTH!!!

They also need to make sure that they are wearing breathable fabrics!

*I have heard from many sources that deodorant works best if applied at night before bed (as well as in the morning)… *

And…make sure the male hair under the pits is DRY before applying. Wet hair under the arms is a petri dish for bacteria growth!

One reason women don’t smell as much is because we shave our underarms…so our underarms are dry when we apply deodorant.

Thanks all for the info.! I think I will remind him to make sure that his underarms are dry before putting on deodorant. I will be following up on the clinical deodorants. I had not heard of them before, and had not noticed them on the shelves.

My dH has used only Mitchum stick anti/deodorant forever.
It is the only thing that works for him.

OK Chardo…sometimes its my typing, and other times it is just plain old crappy spelling. I just wanted the OP to know the correct name for “Mitchum” in case she had not heard of it.

One other tip, observe the application of the product, if you can. Sometimes young guys don’t realize they have to give a good strong application of the product to get results.

College S uses Old Spice Endurance.
