Clemson University Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

Is graduate students also results going to be out today or in feb?

I believe last year, the “Edit Term” or whatever it specifically said disappearing within a few days/day before decision day gave ppl an indicator that they were accepted. But this year, it “seems” all the buttons are gone for most applicants, based on responses here. So maybe they fixed the glitch/tell!

Is it same for graduate students also?
Are results going to be out ?

Decisions being announced today 12/12 at 6pm

Wondering if any TO applicants will be accepted in this round? DD has a 4.2 but didn’t submit scores. Told her to expect a deferral best case scenario.

Same for DS. Expecting deferral because of TO and OOS.

D25 has a 4.52 and 1460 but still expecting a deferral due to being OOS.

If your child doesn’t get accepted I don’t know who will. What is their major?

I think this is crazy. Why give it as an option if they hold it agains you :frowning:

Business as first choice, Econ as second. I know kids with similar stats who got deferred last year and then only offered summer start.

It’s so unpredictable! S25 got classic scholarship from UGA but I told him to expect a deferral today especially being OOS (CA)

My son is Language & International Business w/ Business All Areas as a second. only 3 1/2 hours to go. I don’t remember this being that hard when I applied ED for NYU. But then again I only applied to 3 schools and withdrew the other 2 when I got in.

But this was about 2 million years ago too.

It’s the OOS that makes it so hard to know. I was looking at UNC’s SAT stats. In-state the average is 1250 or something close, OOS it’s over 1500.

It’s much easier to get into Clemson OOS than UGA.

Same! DS has a 33 and a 4.6 (OOS) and I told him to be prepared for a deferral. Fingers are crossed though!

We live in Tennessee. UTK is going to be super competitive for OOS this year (last year they had a 27% acceptance rate) and this year they say it could be harder. It’s crazy. In-state they definitely went after high GPAs during early action.

My D25 has almost identical stats to yours, and we are OOS as well. We’ll have to see if the extracurriculars hold any weight. Not much longer now

Because a 1550 is always going to beat TO, good test scores still add to the application. Since HS’s weigh differently, colleges recalculate to compare apples to apples.
