Before Clemson released their EA decisions they sent an email on that Monday afternoon saying decisions would be out at 6pm on Thursday. “Here’s what to expect on December 12th”. So I keep waiting for a similar email. With this coming Monday being a holiday, I’m assuming that Tuesday will be the earliest our kids hear anything at all from the University.

Most colleges have class on Presidents’ Day. It’s mostly a bank & postal holiday. So maybe an email could still arrive Monday?

Maybe I am wrong but did they not have the timeline of mid February in the actual portal? I recall there being a list of dates. But I no longer see that at all. It was in the application information section during EA and then I thought when deferred the only date that was left was mid February.
It was in the FAQ if you are deferred section:
Deferred applicants will receive their final admissions decision in mid-February. Deferred applicants still have a high likelihood of receiving an admissions decision that is a pathway to a Clemson degree (Fall admit, Summer Start admit, Bridge to Clemson program, etc.).
Edit: I don’t recall seeing actual dates…. Just Mid-February. But I could be wrong.
These were the dates during EA. I thought it had updated after deferred and only mid February showed. Either way all dates are gone
This is what it is showing in the deferred language. It could be this Friday. It was a Friday last year with no Instagram post prior. I will check the thread last year. I can see why we got the email for EA that explained “what’s next” mainly bc so many were going to be deferred. From here there isn’t really a what’s next. It’s denied or WL. I could see it going either way.
Yes but I am saying maybe a portal update/change bc I could have sworn they had mid February listed where the other dates were and now nothing is there.
Heard they weren’t ready to release and may postpone to next week.
my daughter reached out to admissions earlier this week and was told they will send ou communication soon informing when decisions will be released. sounds to me like it won’t be this friday, which is “mid feb”.

Wish it was today! Torture waiting over the weekend. I don’t think they’d be working over the weekend, and Monday is a holiday so why not today? I know none of us know the answer just have to vent. I’ll remind myself to be grateful it isn’t end of March like some deferrals we have.

Clemson doesn’t list Monday as being a holiday on their academic calendar. It does list fall break, election day, and MLK day, so it is likely a normal work day. One-day holidays throw off the lab schedules, so some colleges tend not to take a lot of them if they can avoid it.
Clemson’s housing portal opens today. Oh yeah, you need to have paid your enrollment deposit first. The timing of things is all messed up.
Was really hoping to have an answer this week so we can start making some decisions. Tired of being in limbo. We are going to an admitted student day this weekend and another next weekend so I’m hoping she really likes at least one of these schools. They gave her great merit so they are cheaper than in state and have good opportunities for her major. Fingers crossed.
