I’ve heard some people say they received an email yesterday (Feb 14th) from Clemson telling them decisions will be announced on Tuesday. My son did NOT get an email! Anyone else? He applied EA, if that makes a difference.
Yes. My daughter was deferred EA and received an email.
Applied early action and got the email yesterday
Does your son have access to honors app?
I can access the application but did not hit the submit I am still interested in applying to honors because my daughter will kill me!
LOL. No submit here either. I just wanted to see if it was accessible. That will be my daughter’s job if she’s interested in pursuing it. I’m just hoping she gets admitted!
It sounds like everyone has the same information/options in their portal. I don’t think there are any clues yet.
So my S25 was admitted to Clemson EA, but was waitlisted to honors. I’m guessing he’ll hear yes or no when the rest of the honors admissions are announced for the folks who applied later. Anyone have a clue about when the next round of honors announcements might be? Same time as RD admissions? Something later? A lot later?
This won’t make or break his decision on attendance (we’re waiting to see the merit money for that) but it would be nice to know.
Everything looks just like everyone else describes, including the button that says Honors Interest Form.
Not sure, he’s away on a cruise to Mexico.
I think if people are looking for a ‘sign’ - this could be a bad one for us!
March 7 is next round of honors decisions
Thank you!
When I clicked on the honors information form, it automatically said “information sent” however I didn’t fill anything out. Now there’s nothing to click on and it reads “Honors Application Information” in a purple box.
Have him check his spam email and/or in any of his other email folders…it might be in there.
Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve done that. The email that went out seemed so upbeat. Not exactly something you’d want to receive followed by a ‘deny’. It’s disappointing but helping to set our expectations going into Tuesday. He’ll be fine. His second choice is still a solid choice (and cheaper, too)!
It was a positive letter, however I would think all applicants would receive it whether it’s deny, waitlisted or acceptance. Do you know of other people not getting a letter? It’s all very interesting!
So far I haven’t heard of anyone else NOT getting the letter. But, as far as I know, we’ve received every other letter. Weird, right? We’ve checked trash, spam, etc. Even if emails went out in batches I would’ve expected something by now. I guess we’ll know Tuesday at 6 - one way or the other.
My son didn’t get the letter either. He was deferred as well. We are instate and he has great stats. I will be shocked if he doesn’t get in but we are still nervous.
so it appears that everyones withraw and print letter options are gone. The only difference I am seeing at this point is with the honors button being active or not active. And that could be nothing too. Ugh, get me to tuesday!
