CLEP vs SAT Subject Tests

Simple question, so I won’t go into detail. I need a 65 on the CLEP. I made a 750 on the SAT Biology M. How do these scores translate?

I don’t know what the scale is on the SAT subject tests, but the CLEP exams are scaled between 20 and 80. The 65 would NOT be a 65%.

Here is a list of the entire SAT Subject Test percentile ranks. According to this chart, a 750 would be ~88%. Every CLEP exam is scaled differently based on the difficulty of the exam itself.

This link (http://clep.collegeboard.org/develop/ace-credit</a>) shows the A-level, B-level and C-level scores for each exam. C-Level, as we know, is 50. B-Level is 57, so that means A-level would be BETWEEN 58 and 80. CLEP doesn’t really do percentile ranks so it’s not easy to translate over, but I hope this helps a little!

^^The letter-grade assignment for the CLEP scores is only used for those very rare schools which translate your CLEP scaled score to a letter grade (rather than the usual credit/no credit or pass/no pass assignment). I have only come across two colleges in the US that use the letter grade for a CLEP score.
