cliffsnotes

has anyone used the cliffsnotes prep book and taken the ACT? how does it compare? because i’m finding it to be inordinately difficult - as in i missed 20 on english practice test but only 2 on the test from the act website.

where is the test on the act website? is that free?

It is the booklet your school counsellor should have. It is downloadable here

anyone know how difficult the booklet test is compared to the actual ACT?

It is supposed to be like a real ACT as are the tests in the real ACT prep book (which are old retired tests). My D however has found the last 2 tests she took to be much more diffficult than either the booklet or the real ACT prep book. She was scoring around 35 - 36 on the tests from the real ACT book - scored 31 on the april test. Though her writing, reading and math were all very high - the science killed her for some reason.
