Okay I don’t feel like shopping again because I don’t have the time or energy right now(I’m leaving next week). I’ve never bought clothes from the internet before(I always worry about them not fitting or having holes in them). What should I do? Any reputable online company?

this thread is fitting considering your name is so close to “Agoraphobic”

“lazy” and not enough “energy” are just lame excuses to say that you’re a shut- in.

What are you saying? Buying clothes from the internet makes me a “shut-in”? *** does that even mean?

Anyway the reason why I’m asking is because I have never bought clothes from the internet before. I have enough problems with returns from department stores and I would imagine it would be even more different with online ones.

buying online is fine from major retailers, except you often dont get the crazy discounts that they have in the store

i’m not a cheap person, but buying online seems like a rip off in many cases

and is your name intended to be agrophobic or “agoraphobic” which means fear of crowded situations or w/e

I agree…even if you find stuff on clearance online, you still have to pay for shipping and handling. You might as well leave your cave and face the sun for a little bit.

okay thanks for the heads up. BTW, I just made the sn up a while ago and I don’t think it stands for anything

buying clothes online is great! you can find so many coupon discount codes to ease the shipping and handling cost

i dunno, I buy most my clothes online, usually because i can spend more time finding somthing I actually like. go for it, return policies are usually the same, as long as it ain’t washed its returnable, or if theres a defect.

Clothing sizes run different from brand to brand. I wouldn’t want to get the clothes, have them not fit, and then not have time to send them back for the right size. Just give it until the weekend, and then go back to the mall.

www.tshirthell.com
has the best highest quality shirts, and will make people stare at you chest, for better or worse.

i have found that clothing sizes for even particular shirts from the same brand run differently. A henley and a polo from the same brand might fit you differently. I would just go to the store, but if you do buy online, make sure the store has a generous return policy

If you buy clothes on eBay, assume they are rip-offs, don’t expect to get name brands there.

welll official store websites are all reputable, obviously. eBay has plenty of name brands, although if you’re talking about designer labels, then you’re risking getting a fake. You can get great deals on eBay.

sorry what I meant is if you do want an authentic designer label, like a Polo or Lacoste shirt, they will most likely be fake

If it seems too good to be true on eBay, it probably is

I don’t know if they are fake or not, but son has bought Abercrombie, Lacoste and other brands on Ebay with tags, etc intact. Prices are good and if he can’t tell, will anyone else?

mkm: Yes. I’d bet every single Lacoste he’s bought is fake. Plus, if you aren’t buying the shirt for the comfort, durability, and all the other benefits … why not just go to Wal-Mart and buy a shirt of the same quality as a fake Lacoste?

Don’t know–have compared the Lacoste to ones we paid full price at dept. stores and can’t tell any difference–same quality material, washed well, etc. Maybe they were “hot”?

because brands can be important in social situations.

Just a question - where would you be buying clothes that you would worry about there being holes in them?

dcfca: Yes, they can. But there are plenty of decent brands (not as good as Lacoste or Polo) that have no logo, such as The Gap. If the choice is a ****ty fake Lacoste off e-bay or a Gap polo, I’d go for a Gap.

Brands are important in social situations, and maybe if it’s a good fake, only the wearer can tell. I’d still feel like a turd buying subpar quality clothes for the social aspects of clothes - it’s kind of like lying.
